Saturday comes in
My weights look at me, “It’s the weekend, we get to spend more time together”
My list looks at me “Woo hoo!! We get to spend time together”
My friend calls, “Hey can I stop by for coffee?”
I look at the weights and the list, “Sure, can you drop by in a couple hours”
Setting boundaries and achieving goals takes a commitment.
The list and the workout are new habits that I’ve decided are a priority.
Achieving them first will provide results.
Having fun will be a temporary boost resulting in going back to bad habits.
It’s okay to take a minute and remind ourselves, this is how this rolls.
