Have you ever stopped for just one minute and thought about the mind of Dr. Seuss?
How many people must have seen his first book and thought….Ummm…yeah, no one will read that.
Of how many people must have told him that his work sucked and made no sense to a child.
And how even his close friends probably presumed he was a bit ‘mad’ or ‘off’
And yet, here we are.
All of us remember our fav Dr. Seuss book, and even if you are not a fan, you do remember titles of his work.
When I look at them they speak of so much freedom and creativity
Of a mind that did not care what others thought of his work
Or even if it succeeded in the least
Is it not the most interesting thing that the very thing we want
We are afraid others will judge us for doing?
Seems a bit seussical, doesn’t it?
