
He’s an architectural engineer, sarcastic, looks a bit of an introvert.
Good mix for my personality.
The date is set at a restaurant to appease both of our foodie obsessions.
Chatter was decent, introverts are a bit challenging to pull info from, a non issue for extroverted me.
One hour and 20 minutes into this he grabs his coat.
“Is it time to go?” (I secretly find this funny, so wrong. So wrong.)
“Yeah, I better head out so I can still pick up groceries for tomorrow”
I held in my chuckle and with a straight face, agreed.
I’ve heard some lines in my time, this one was priceless.
Does he not have any creativity with which he could produce an ill grandma, a family emergency, do we not all have our emergency outs planned?
I mean, I sure did, but I’m much more creative than a grocery list on a Tuesday evening.
Ahhhh….the joys of pandemic dating.
